Secretaries And Clerks: Unnoticed And Unappreciated?

Everyone knows the big names, but who really does the nitty gritty work? It’s the secretaries and clerks of the world—They are responsible for all the work that goes on behind the scenes, and they keep the appearance smooth. But, for all that work, what do they get? Their names aren’t recognized, they aren’t given public ‘thanks’, and no one really wants to admit that these people are the ones who really hold the reins. It is time that some acknowledgment goes to these hard workers. Because, while the governor is out shaking hands and smiling, the clerk is organizing bills and fi ling papers. So, next time you see a secretary working hard long after everyone has left, smile, and say “thanks!”
